bypass the detectionWhat do you want to do with the seeds? Please do not throw away the pumpkin seeds!
The roasted pumpkin seeds are full of protein and fiber and have a nutty flavour. During this Halloween night (or for any party time) you can enjoy the delicious pumpkin seeds, toasted and salted, but we will give you a tip: The seeds taste much better if are flavoured with sweet spices.
Roasting the pumpkin seeds:
- First of all, you must rinse the seeds under cold water and clean it. (This is very easy just after you have removed them from the pumpkin, and should be done quickly before the pulp has dried)
- Second: Just place the seeds in a single layer on an oiled baking sheet, (enough oil to coat). Add the salt and spices (as much you want) and bake in the over at 160° degrees until toasted (25 minutes), do not forget to check and stir the seeds after 10 minutes.
- Finally take the seeds out of the oven, put them into a bowl, wait for 10 minutes and eat them! (The seeds are perfect to eat with all kind of beverages with or without alcohol).
Remember the table-booking.com tip: The pumpkin seeds taste much better if are flavoured with sweet spices.
