White asparagus with potatoes and butter

 

Peel the white asparagus and cut the ends about 1 cm.
Either cook it in a special pot for asparagus or bind it together and cook it in a normal pot with 2 tea spoons of salt for 20 minutes.

Peel potatoes well and cut them into halfs. Cook them for about 20 minutes in hot water with salt.

Heat butter in a small pot. ( You can heat it in the same water you are cooking the asparagus or the potatoes.)

Cut the chives in small pieces.

Put 5 to 6 asparagus on the plate together with the potatoes and decorate it with the chives.

1 pound white asparagus
1 pound potatoes
salt
butter
